Our Preschool Pathways Classroom
Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will ultimately miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance. By identifying those children early, we can help them stay with a consistent group of peers through preschool, pre-K and kindergarten.

- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Individual cots and blankets provided for each child, laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
- Monthly emergency drills to ensure children and staff are prepared for emergencies
Our Preschool Pathways Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Baharak Askari
Let’s get to know each other.
I’m Baharak. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I have seven years of experience in child care and teaching, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Management. One of my favorite things about working with children is the sense of peace I feel in their presence. I especially enjoy reading Pete the Cat: We’re Better Together with them—it’s a fun and meaningful story that encourages friendship and cooperation.
Christmas is my favorite holiday, and my family also celebrates Nowruz, which brings a special cultural richness to our home. One of our favorite traditions is going on picnics together. At home, we speak Farsi, Turkish, and English, and we share our space with our cat, Budha. In my personal time, I enjoy reading, swimming, and taking walks.
I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.

Ms. Brianna Sprik
Let’s get to know each other.
I’m Brianna. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I have child care and teaching experience through my time at Primrose and from babysitting. I love making kids laugh and creating a fun, engaging environment for them to learn and grow. One of my favorite children’s books is Frog and Toad Together—a classic that always brings smiles. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and one of my favorite family traditions is watching scary movies together on Halloween night.
At home, we speak English and share our space with our cat, Tiger Lily. In my personal time, I enjoy drawing, crocheting, and reading—creative outlets that I love bringing into the classroom whenever I can.
I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
