Our Before & After School Care
Our Explorer program is designed to nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts® in children starting at five years old. Your child can relax, make friends, get homework help and continue to learn while having fun as they explore creative expression, sports, technology, drama, music, games and more.

- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios

Ms. Brooke Edmondson
Let’s get to know each other!
I’m Brooke, and I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I was born in Florida but moved around a lot growing up because my dad was in the Air Force. I started babysitting in middle school and graduated from Wayne High School in 2015. I married my husband, Tanner, who I’ve known since 2nd grade! We have three children: Ella, Oliver, and Hudson. I attended Sinclair for Pharmacy/Nursing but found my love in teaching. I have been a part of Primrose since November 2021 and have loved being a part of the school.
I have 4 years of experience in childcare and teaching. My educational background includes some college coursework. My favorite thing about working with children is seeing them learn something new! I absolutely love the children’s book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. We also celebrate St. Nicholas with the Shoe in Window tradition. My favorite family tradition is making Christmas cookies. At home, we speak English and have a dog named Apollo. In my personal time, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading books, shopping at Target, and spending time with family.
I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
