My name is Ms. Williams, and I am the Director at Primrose Southwest Arlington. I have worked with Primrose for over 13 years. I started my Primrose career as an Assistant Teacher, Lead Teacher, and eventually moved to the Leadership Team. I believe I am a great director because I am patient, loving, caring, understanding, and respectful. If I could teach my staff and students one thing, it would to treat others how you want to be treated. I love being a teacher and seeing my students reach a milestone for the first time.

My name is Ms. Nanayakkara, and I am the Assistant Director at Primrose Southwest Arlington. I graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with my bachelor’s degree in finance. I came to Primrose with five years of experience, previously working as a math and reading tutor in my hometown, Sri-Lanka. I started my journey at Primrose over five years ago. I began as an Assistant in the Pre-K II classroom and then moved to the Lead Preschool I teacher. I believe I am a great assistant director because I always act as a role model. I am adaptable in every situation. I use clear communication and active listening. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be that love is the most powerful thing you can give and receive. Therefor, it is always better to forgive and let go. Some fun facts about me are I am bilingual – I can speak English and Sinhalease.

My name is Ms. Charles, and I am the Education Coach.  I have over ten years of experience in childcare, including eight years at Primrose. Before Primrose, I was a director of a smaller day care. I believe I am a great teacher because my time management skills, attention to details, and most importantly a love of learning and teaching. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to never judge and be compassionate. I love being a teacher because I can see my students are excited about learning, which helps them retain their knowledge. You see, at Primrose Schools we’re more than a team of professional teachers and childcare education specialists. We’re also a family, and we care for every child as though he or she was our own. And like your home, our school provides a secure, nurturing environment that fosters self-discovery and a love of learning.

My name is Ms. Diaz, and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Infant 1 classroom. I am currently pursuing my degree in early childhood education. I have over six years of childcare experience, previously working as a nanny. I believe I am a great teacher because I am patient, kind, and outgoing. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to have confidence to always be themselves. I love teaching because I can see my students growing and learning new skills.

I’m Ms. Mendoza, and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Infant 1 classroom. I believe I am a great teacher because I am patient, a multitasker, and passionate. My name is Ms. Rod, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Toddler Classroom. I come to primrose with nine years of childcare experience. I also have a degree in pharmacy tech and my real estate license. I believe I am a great teacher because of my patience and creativity. I also have the ability to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to be kind and patient. I love being a teacher and being able to witness students’ curiosity, growth, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives!

My name is Ms. Reese, and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Toddlers classroom. I come to Primrose with over 6 years of child care experience. I believe I am a great teacher because I am patient, calm, understanding, and caring. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to always study hard. I love being a teacher because I love to see the growth in each one of my students. I also love getting to connect with each child.

If I could teach my students one thing, it would be that it’s okay to not be okay, but always believe in yourself. My name is Ms. Torres, and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Young Toddlers classroom. I have over 16 years of childcare experience, previously working at Primrose in Frisco. I believe I am a great teacher because I am creative, artistic, kind, sweet natured, and full of smiles and laughs. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be that laughter is the greatest medicine. I love being a teacher and getting to care for and have fun with each student.

I’m Ms. Torres, and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Young Toddler classroom. I believe I am a great teacher because of my understanding and patience. I am also positive and playful. I try to bring a good attitude, so students are comfortable enough to grow. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be patience. Waiting and not rushing can bring good things.

I’m Ms. Hutchinson, and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Early Preschool classroom.  I believe I am a great teacher because I am compassionate, social, empathetic, patient, and energetic.  If I could teach my students one thing, it would be that every person should be respected and valued at the exact same time. I love being a teacher and helping kids expand their knowledge and discover new possibilities. I also want to make children feel safe, loved, and important.

My name is Ms. Sappy, and I am the Lead Pre-Kindergarten teacher. I graduated with from Stephen F. Austin with a degree in Human Development and family studies. At Primrose, this degree helps me to easily recognize developmental milestones. I have six years of education experience and have been babysitting since I was 10 years old. I believe I am a great teacher because I am a good listener, patient, and I always make things fun. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to follow their dreams and never give up! I love being a teacher because of all my students’ silly personalities and seeing them get excited about learning.

My name is Ms. Nino, and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Pre-K classroom. I am currently studying psychology at Dallas College, in pursuit of becoming a counselor. I believe I am a great teacher because I am very caring and thoughtful. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to treat everyone with kindness and respect.
