Our Toddler Classroom
An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Our Toddler Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Kayla York
Kayla has been a valued member of the Primrose team since 2019 and is proud to be part of the Young Toddler classroom. With a strong commitment to early childhood education and a caring, nurturing presence, she loves building meaningful relationships with both children and their families.
As a proud mom of two, Kayla is especially grateful that her own children are part of the Primrose community—receiving a high-quality education in the same nurturing environment where she works each day. Her favorite Primrose puppet is Erwin the Dog, and she finds daily inspiration in the connections she forms and the growth she gets to witness in each child.

Ms. Miriam Reed
Hi, my name is Ms. Miriam and I’m so excited to be a young toddler teacher here at Primrose! I have a Business Degree and am also a Licensed Esthetician, but my true passion is creating a healthy and caring learning environment where children can grow and thrive. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. We enjoy taking walks together and having game nights, and I also like biking, camping, and painting in my free time. At home, we celebrate both Halloween and Hanukkah, and I share my home with two sweet cats named Cleo and Kalli.
I’m so grateful to be part of the Primrose family and look forward to helping each child learn, explore, and shine every day!

Ms. Liz Hernandez
Liz joined Primrose in early 2023 and brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a love for hands-on learning to the classroom each day. A high school graduate with a passion for arts and crafts, she enjoys incorporating imaginative activities into her work with children. Whether it’s building LEGO sets, completing puzzles, or leading a craft project, Liz is always eager to create something fun and engaging.
Outside of school, she enjoys quiet time at home with her cat, Echo. Her favorite Primrose puppet is Og the Bookworm, a perfect match for her creative and curious spirit.
Liz loves the joy and energy the children bring each day and finds great fulfillment in helping them learn through creative play. She also values the healthy work-life balance that Primrose offers, including weekends and holidays off.

Ms. Chloe Burdine
Chloe joined the Primrose team in June 2024 and brings warmth, energy, and a natural connection with young children to her role. A high school graduate with a passion for early childhood education, she especially enjoys working with toddlers and helping them grow through nurturing, engaging experiences.
Outside of the classroom, Chloe enjoys shopping, spending time with friends and family, and recently discovered a love for line dancing. Her favorite Primrose puppet is Billy the Duck, and she finds daily joy in the laughter and curiosity of the children she works with.
What Chloe loves most about Primrose is the opportunity to build strong, trusting relationships—with both children and their families—that truly make a lasting impact.
