Mrs. Taylor Ball

With nearly a decade of Primrose experience, Iโm committed to supporting our teachers, nurturing young minds, and building strong relationships with every family we serve.
Iโm a hometown girl, raised right here in Allen ๐ค , and joined the Primrose East Allen team in May 2018. I began in our Infant classroom, soaking up every coo, milestone, and smile ๐ถ๐, and soon stepped into the front office, where I now guide every age group and mentor our dedicated educators.
Iโm also a proud mom and wife to my high school sweetheart ๐โค๏ธ. When my husband was stationed at Camp Pendleton, I cared for the children of other Marine families, an experience that deepened my passion for creating supportive, loving communities for kids and parents alike.
My door is always open ๐ช because great communication is the heartbeat of a thriving school family. I canโt wait to get to know you and your child and partner with you as we make every day at Primrose safe, loving, and full of discovery! ๐๐

Mrs. Brenna Smith-Rios

After five years of various Primrose School locations Ms. Brenna brings a wealth of knowledge to the Primrose East Allen Team! ๐
Originally from Moreno Valley, California ๐ด, Ms. Brenna is currently continuing her education as she works toward her bachelorโs degree in Early Childhood Education ๐. She has experience working with children from newborns to 10 years old and is deeply passionate about supporting both teachers and students in their growth and success. ๐ฑ
Ms. Brenna loves guiding children as they learn and grow and finds so much joy in being part of those important foundational moments โจ. She is committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel loved and excited to learn ๐งธ๐, while also empowering teachers to thrive in their classrooms.
Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ, cheering on her kids at soccer games โฝ, decorating her home ๐ก, and reading on her Kindle ๐. Her favorite childrenโs book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, reflects her love for curiosity and fun in learning ๐ญ๐ช.
Ms. Brenna relates most to Percy from the Primrose Friends ๐ฆ, as she enjoys helping and supporting others while creating a positive and encouraging environment ๐ซ. She is excited to support our school in every way she can and looks forward to watching both students and teachers grow and succeed this year! ๐

Mrs. Stacie Nickols
I am excited to serve as the Education Support Specialist for Primrose School of East Allen. I bring more than 30 years of experience in public education, along with a bachelorโs degree in elementary education from Oklahoma State University ๐ and a masterโs degree in educational administration with a principal certification.
Most recently, I worked as a Curriculum Coordinator for McKinney ISD, supporting PreK through 5th grade social studies and reading and language arts ๐ and providing professional learning and coaching for elementary instructional coaches.
I love working in preschool, because it is where a childโs love of learning begins โจ. I am passionate about supporting teachers, strengthening classroom practices, and helping create warm, engaging environments where children can thrive ๐. I am excited to bring my experience to Primrose School of East Allen and partner with educators as they support children and families every day.
I live in McKinney with my husband and am a proud mom of two adult sons and grandmother to two grandchildren ๐

Mrs. Fran
Meet Ms. Fran โ Passionate About Learning & Growing! ๐๐
We are thrilled to have Ms. Fran as part of our Primrose East Allen teaching team since May 2022! Her passion for helping others and making a difference in childrenโs lives shines through in everything she does.
Ms. Fran has always had a heart for working with children, from babysitting for family and friends to volunteering in her churchโs youth ministry. She is currently pursuing her degree to further her knowledge in education and grow as an Early Childhood educator!
Originally from Venezuela, she moved to Chile at 14 before coming to the USA in 2001. She graduated from Allen High School and loves spending time outdoors at the pool or park and giving back to her community through volunteering.
Ms. Fran is excited to learn, grow, and build meaningful connections with her students and their families. She truly believes that this career is the perfect place to use her skills, strengths, and passion for helping others.

Ms. Jayapriya is originally from India ๐ฎ๐ณ and brings a strong educational background with her Masterโs degree in Computer Applications ๐. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections with her students and fostering a positive, engaging classroom environment ๐.

Aubree Wehring has been working in childcare for over 4 years, with the past 3 years proudly spent at Primrose Schools ๐๐. Her love for teaching started when she was a little girl. She loved helping her teachers ๐ฉโ๐ซ and would go home to โteachโ her imaginary students ๐โ๏ธ. Even then, she knew this was her calling.
The best part of her day is the sweet hugs she receives each morning and afternoon ๐ค, which brighten her day and make her work truly meaningful ๐.

Growing up in a family dedicated to early childhood education, I was surrounded by a world of learning, play, and care. My parents and grandparents ran childcare centers, summer camps, and after-school programs, so creating joyful learning experiences has always been a part of my life!
As a former Montessori infant teacher, I bring a nurturing, hands-on approach to the classroomโinfused with my greatest passion: music! Classically trained for over 10 years, I play the baritone saxophone, read music fluently, and love writing and producing my own music using Logic Pro. I canโt wait to sing, move, and make music with your children, incorporating rhythm, melody, and creativity into their daily learning!
I am continuously growing in my early childhood education journey and am so excited to be part of your childโs learning adventure. I look forward to making each day filled with music, laughter, and discovery! ๐ต๐

Nearly 25 years ago, we were parents just like you โ searching for a safe, nurturing place where our children could thrive. That experience inspired our journey with Primrose and shaped our passion for early childhood education. As lifelong educators, weโre deeply committed to creating an environment where children feel safe, loved, and ready to learn. About Alan and Kelly:
With over 15 years of experience at Primrose and a 25-year career in public education, Alan brings unparalleled leadership and expertise to our schools. As the former principal of McKinney High School, he successfully managed 3,000 students and 250 staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and community. His roles as a middle school principal, assistant principal, and music teacher have given him a well-rounded perspective on education and leadership. Alan holds a Bachelorโs Degree in Music Education from East Central University, a Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Oklahoma, and has completed all coursework toward a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of North Texas. He is also proud to be an Eagle Scout and a veteran of the US Army Reserve.
Kelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a rich background in teaching, leadership, and family relationships. She holds a degree in Business Education and was a Division I college athlete at Middle Tennessee State University. Kelly started her career in education, teaching business and coaching volleyball at McKinney Boyd High School, where she led the team to multiple district championships and state tournament appearances. After the birth of their youngest child, Kelly dedicated time to focus on the family as a stay-at-home mom. Later, she returned to school and earned a masterโs degree in Marriage, Family, and Couples Counseling from Lamar University. She has a private practice in McKinney, specializing in helping couples and individuals with their relationships.
Weโre proud parents of four amazing kids, all Primrose graduates. Alec, 27, teaches high school math in Austin ISD after graduating from the University of Utah. Ali, 20, is studying at the University of Florida and is a passionate equestrian, dreaming of a career in that world after graduation. Quinn, 10, is an enthusiastic baseball player, and Erin, 7, is all about dancing and everything girly. Outside of school, youโll often find us playing with our bernedoodle, Coco, and taking every opportunity we can to travel!
