Our Preschool Classroom
Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Our Preschool Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. O'keefe
Ms. S. O’Keefe has 15 years of experience working with children. She would like to further her knowledge in early education by getting her associates degree. Ms. O’Keefe loves Mia the mouse because like herself she likes being outdoors with the children; she loves to watch them explore and enjoy the fresh air. She wants the children in her class to feel loved and safe while in her care. The best part of the day to Ms. O’Keefe is art because she enjoys seeing the kids in her class create and be excited about their work. Her goals for her children are to become empathetic towards others and learn some skills such as counting and writing their names. We love having Ms. S. O’Keefe on our Primrose team.

Ms. Rector
Ms. Rector has been working with children for 7 years and is currently in school for elementary education. After finishing her associates degree, she wants to continue her learning journey with her bachelors. Ms. Rector’s favorite Primrose Puppet is Katie because she teaches the children the importance of working together. Harmony and Heart is Ms. Rector’s favorite time of day because she loves the songs and getting the kids involved. While children are in her care, she wants them to feel safe, seen, and understood. Ms. Rector wants to teach kids the importance of sharing and taking turns before moving up to the next class. We are so excited to have Ms. Rector as a part of our Primrose Family!

Ms. Copenhaver
Ms. Copenhaver joins us with almost 6 month of experience in the early childhood field and looks forward to growing and learning more in the field. Ms. Copenhaver’s favorite Primrose Pal is Og because he loves to read and reading is one of her passions and hobbies. Small group is her favorite time of day because she gets to interact more closely with each of the students. Ms. Copenhaver wants her students to feel confident about what they are learning. She also wants the kiddos to be excited about reading and letter recognition. We are excited to have Ms. Copenhaver as a part of our Primrose Family!
