Our Preschool Classroom
Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Our Preschool Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Jamilethe Castillo
Ms. Jami may be kind and gentle to her core, but she is always on the move! Whether she is doing the hokey pokey with her students or running in her free time, she knows the value of an active body, especially when it comes to emotional regulation. And emotional regulation is her field: Ms. Jami can often be heard reminding her students that while things won’t always go her way, emotions are never wrong; we just have to be careful how we express them, and remember that kind and gentle hands are always best. Ms. Jami enjoys reading to her class, especially books by American author Jory John, such as The Good Egg and The Bad Seed.

Ms. Alexis Garza
Ms. Alexis believes what separates Primrose Schools from other child care centers is our Balanced Learning curriculum, but her absolutely favorite time of day is when she gets to take her students outside for their twice daily Thumbs Up! lesson. She balances fun and laughter with routines and structure in the classroom, providing a safe, steady environment for her students to spread their wings. She loves to talk with the kids about the places they’ve traveled or what they did over the weekend.

Mrs. Jamica Johnson
If joy were a person, Mrs. Jamica would be that person! Always ready with a cheerful smile and a hug or a high five, Mrs. Jamica loves delving into STEM projects and art lessons with her students, from growing flowers on the classroom windowsill to painting family portraits. One of her favorite aspects of working with Primrose Schools is the abundance of events and activities available for parents to attend and participate in, something not all schools and child care centers can boast. At home, Mrs. Jamica enjoys cooking and spending time with her own children.
