Our Infant Classroom

We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety

Their health & safety. Our top priority.

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
  • Monthly emergency drills so children and staff are prepared for emergencies

Hi! My name is Mrs. Jimenez, and I am proud to serve as a Infant Teacher at Primrose School at Wellen Park. I have been working in the early childhood education field since 2017, and I am passionate about helping young children grow and thrive.

I love the Balanced Learning Curriculum because it supports the development of the whole child. By blending purposeful play with academic learning, it helps build confidence, spark curiosity, and develop essential skills in a fun and engaging way.

What I love most about our school environment is how safe, nurturing, and welcoming it feels. I know it will become a second home for the children in our care, a place where they feel loved, supported, and excited to learn every day.

Infant Teacher

My name is Ms. Rule , and I’ve had the privilege of working with children for over 30 years. I’m deeply passionate about nurturing their curiosity, creativity, and kindness. Our children will inherit the world and shape its future, and I believe that supporting them as they grow into their best selves is one of the most meaningful and rewarding responsibilities we can have.

One of my favorite aspects of the Balanced Learning® curriculum is how it emphasizes the emotional and social development of each child. It recognizes that learning goes beyond academics and helps children build the confidence and empathy they need to thrive.

What I love most about the school’s environment is how warm and uplifting it is. It’s a place where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn every day.

Our family would love to meet yours.
