Our Preschool Classroom
Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Ms. Lauriz Soto
Hello, my name is Ms. Lauriz Soto. I am currently working on my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. While I attended Brandeis High School, I was able to participate in a few internships as well as assisted with VBS. My favorite thing about working with children is getting to know them and seeing their unique personalities. My favorite family tradition is celebrating our family birthdays by waking up the birthday person. May dad will play the guitar and we all spend the morning together. I have a dog named Pepper. In my personal time I like to relax by watching movies with my family.

Mrs. Satarupa Dutta
Hello, my name is Mrs. Satarupa Dutta. My experience working with children has been as an assistant in a special needs program. I have been able to support students with a variety of different needs. This experience helped me to understand how every child learns in their own way. I believe children learn best in a positive, caring and encouraging environment. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and I’m currently working on my Masters degree in Sociology as well from UTSA. My favorite book is “The Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. The book is colorful, fun and easy for children to understand. The story also helps children learn about numbers, days of the week and the life cycle of a butterfly. My favorite holidays are Holi and Christmas. Being from Bengali my family celebrates the biggest festival of Durga Puja. We also celebrate Rakshabandhan, Bhai Dooj and Janmashthami. I enjoy spending our Bengali New Year with family doing all our religious ceremonies. At home we have one dog and her name is Muffin. In my personal time I love to read journals, listen to music and cook.
