Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Ryburn
Hello, I’m Ms. Ryburn, and I I became a part of the Primrose at Preston Meadow family in 2018 and I have been working with children for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business & Accounting from Grayson County College & a degree in Radio and Broadcasting from Columbia School of Broadcasting.
My passions include spending time with my family and relaxing and enjoying coffee.
I enjoy spending hours coloring with gel pens in coloring books.

Ms. Karien
Hello, my name is Karien, and I am Peruvian. I moved to the United States a couple of years ago with my family. I have two daughters. We moved to the United States mainly because one of my daughters is training in gymnastics at a high level. She represents Peru in international events. Professionally, I am a teacher, and have worked with children for many years. Teaching is truly my passion.
I can’t wait to meet you, and your family!

I’m Anita and I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself.
I was born and received my education in India. I feel that we can learn from children and I love being a part of their learning journey. I have been a part of the Primrose School of Preston Meadow family since March of 2023. I enjoy eating Indian Food while traveling all over the world.
