Anja Aghai
Mrs. Anja Aghai joined our team in the summer of 2013. She is originally from Croatia and moved to the United States when she was 7 years old. Mrs. Aghai graduated from the University of West Georgia with her degree in Health and Physical Education. She and her husband married in 2014; they have two dogs, Lily & Lucy. Mrs. Anja enjoys crafting, puzzles, outdoor activities and watching football; she is a huge UGA fan- Go Dawgs! Her passion is working with children and seeing their smiling faces, daily.

Emmi Sass
Mrs. Emmi Sass has been with Primrose since 2016 and joined the Oregon Park Team in 2018. From Lead Pre-K to Lead Kindergarten & now part of the Leadership Team, she has been awarded Teacher of the Year (2021) and featured in Best of Cobb Top 25 Teachers (2021). Mrs. Emmi has Bachelor Degrees in Special Education and Psychology and has been in the educational field since 2001. She has huge support from her husband of 25 years and her two daughters. She enjoys snuggles with her two English Sheepdogs, and watching Netflix in her down time. Her favorite part about Primrose is the children, their excitement for learning, and all the hugs and pictures.

Savannah Roberts
Mrs. Savannah Roberts has been with Oregon Park since 2016. She started in the Infant classroom and joined our school Leadership Team in 2018. She’s been married for nine years and has a 8 year old son in Second Grade and a 2 year old daughter, who attends our Toddler classroom! Mrs. Savannah loves being a mom and attending UGA games. Her favorite part about Primrose is interacting with the children and being part of so many lives. She loves the feeling that our little school is like one big family!

Haley Golden
Ms. Haley Golden has been with Primrose Schools since 2013 and at Oregon Park since 2019. She has been in the infant, toddler, early preschool, kindergarten, and explorer classrooms as either an assistant teacher or lead teacher. In her free time she enjoys watching Netflix, spending time with friends and family, crafting with her Cricut, painting banners for her banner business and being a cat mom to her baby, Poppy. She absolutely loves working closely with the our teachers and building trusted relationships with them and their students every day!

Rebecca Joseph
Ms. Rebecca Joseph has her Bachelor of Psychology from Valdosta State University. Although she was born in New York, she has lived her life growing up in Powder Springs. Ms. Rebecca has already proven that you’ll always see a smile on her face, even during the hard or challenging days. She loves seeing babies learn and grow in their own ways. We are excited for the positivity, warmth and knowledge she will be adding to our already fantastic group of Infant Teachers.

Lisa Braswell
Mrs. Lisa has been with Primrose Oregon Park since 2016. All those years, she has spent with the littles in young infants. She has three grown boys who are all married and have their own families. They have blessed her with eight grand babies. When she has the opportunity, she enjoys scrap booking. Her favorite hobby is being Nona and spending time with her grand babies. She is a retired x-ray technician and loves spending her times with all her nuggets in the infant room.

Mimi Covic
Ms. Mimi is originally from Croatia. She moved to the United States in 1998. She is married and has two daughters, one of them being Mrs. Anja. Although most of her career has been with Publix or as a Chef, she has always loved being a mom and being around children. She is so grateful to have the opportunity to love on the babies in the infant classroom. In her spare time she likes to cook, travel, and garden.

Jocelyn Granados
Ms. Jocelyn is currently attending college and perusing a degree in Architecture. Her passion for children came at a young age. She always loved being around children and forming close relationships with them. She’s excited to spend her days with the students in her care. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, coloring, and watching movies.

Carla Torres-Badillo
Ms. Carla was born and raised in Georgia. She grew up helping raise her sister’s children from a young age. This is where her love for children grew. Her favorite part is watching them grow and become their own person. Ms. Carla has two dogs, a Dachshund and Bassett Hound. In her spare time, she enjoys going on walks or to the dog park. She also likes to spend her weekends watching Netflix. Her favorite part about Primrose is getting to play with the babies and caring for them.

Jessica Carrow
Mrs. Jessica has a fiancé, who she’s been with for 17 years. They have three girls together (ages 10, 11, and 16) named Bella, Lilly, and Emma. They have a small dog named Legion. Her family moved to Georgia, from Oklahoma, in January 2026. She has subbed for the public school system for two years. Her passion is making a positive difference in children’s growth as people, and making everyone know that they matter. Her passion started at a very young age when she was in foster care. She was a foster child for seven years and was adopted at age 10. She’s a huge animal lover. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family. She’s loved spending time with the infants last week and looks forward to watching them grow in her care.
Laura Brown
Mrs. Laura has been with Oregon Park since 2017. She studied Psychology and Art at Southeastern Louisiana University. She has a background in administration and raised a family of three as a single parent. She loves spending time with her children and grandchildren! One of the many reasons she loves working at Primrose is that “there are so many babies to love”! In her spare time, Ms. Laura enjoys cycling, hiking, arts and crafts, gardening, photography, reading books, and romance movies too. Her favorite part about working at Primrose is her work life balance and the great group of co-workers who have become friends.

Victoria Culbreath
Ms. Victoria has been with Primrose since 2023. Before coming to Primrose, she would often take care of her three little sisters. Ms. Victoria enjoys reading, painting, and trying new recipes. Her favorite part about working at Oregon Park is spending quality time with the children and watching how much they grow.

Deanna Fields
Mrs. Deanna moved to Kansas while her husband was stationed at Ft. Riley. She has previous Primrose experience and continued working in childcare while in Kansas as a preschool lead teacher. She has been with Primrose Oregon Park since 2022. In her spare time, she loves going on hikes to new state parks with her dog and husband, cooking and enjoys a good trip to the gym. Her favorite part about working with children is helping the children in her care grow.
Hannah Howell
Ms. Hannah lives in Marietta. She’s originally from Wayne County, GA. She went to college and focused on Psychology with a focus on Child Development. She has previous experience from working with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Camp Hope America. She feels that these have helped shape who she is and how she works with children today. In her spare time she loves to read books and listen to music. She is definitely a cat person and have one orange tabby, little girl, and just rescued a little kitten a month ago. Her goal in life is to make a positive difference in the lives of the children that she works with, as well as the staff, every day.
Courtney Cheney

Tyler West
Mrs. West has been with Primrose OP since 2016. She has been in the Preschool classroom since 2021, with a year and a half off after she had her 3rd son. She has her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Springhill College. Mrs. West lives in Acworth with her husband, Clifton, 3 kids- Kinley(13), Jude(8) and Logan(2), and their cat, Fig. She loves all things Disney ang UGA! In her spare time, you can find her at one of her children’s sporting events or spending time with her family. We are so SO glad to have her back with our OP family!
Valencia Castillo
Ms. Valencia has been babysitting since she was 12 years old. She played a huge role in helping with her brother & younger cousins. Ms. Valencia enjoys spending time with children and being part of their upbringing. She’s excited to have the opportunity to build relationships with the students in her care. In her spare time, she loves to read. We’re excited for all the great things that she will bring to the Preschool classroom.

Rebecca Almy
Mrs. Almy has been at Primrose School at Oregon Park since 2007. She loves teaching children and especially enjoys exploring science center and activities. Mrs. Almy lives in Dallas with her husband, John, and their two dogs, Lucy and Murphy. During any spare time, she enjoys being outside with her dogs and traveling to see family in Tennessee, Kentucky. She is excited for another school year at Oregon Park!

Gretel Ismalej
Ms. Gretel Ismalej has over 5 years of experience working with young children and brings a strong passion for Early Childhood Education to the classroom. She enjoys creating a nurturing environment for children to feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. She recently relocated from Florida and is very excited to be a part of our Oregon Park community! In her free time, she enjoys reading and going to the gym.

Katelyn Brannan
Ms. Katelyn is from Dallas, GA. She graduated from Harrison High School and she is now in school at the University of West Georgia studying Physical Therapy. She coaches volleyball for 575 and at the North Paulding Middle School Program. She coaches many different age groups including girls who are just learning how to play. Ms. Katelyn has always loved kids. She has watched her twin cousins who are 5 and has done some babysitting. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and listening to music.

Maddie Sroka
Mrs. Maddie was born and raised in Columbus, GA. In June, Maddie and her husband moved to the Kennesaw area for a job opportunity. She’s been with her husband for 5 years (married for 1), and they share a fur baby named Ryder, who is a lab and husky mix. She has been working with children since 2021. During that time she has worked with ages infants-Pre-K. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, walking her dog, drinking coffee, and playing pickleball. An interesting fact about her is that she did competitive cheer from 2003-2022, in where she won many national titles and brought home jackets, medals and rings.

Kristen Braswell
Mrs. Kristen has been with Primrose Schools since 2019. She has worked at Oregon Park and another Primrose both as an Assistant and Lead Teacher. She has primarily worked with infants and toddlers. She has been with our Kindergarten students this year, but is excited to transition to our Pre-K classroom! When she isn’t teaching, Mrs. Kristen enjoys spending time with with her husband, Jacob, their kids Matthew and Marlee, kitties, Willow and Astro, and fish, Spiderman. She also enjoys shopping, cooking, crafting, and kayaking. Mrs. Kristen’s favorite part about working at Primrose OP is watching the children in her care learn and grow.
Jahn Levy
Ms. Jahn has a Bachlor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Art. She’s always loved working with children. She has experience as a nanny as well in the Early Childhood classroom setting. She feels as this has give her the chance to build strong skills in both care and education. She loves being around children because of their energy, creativity, and curiosity. She finds it so rewarding to help them learn and grow. She’s looking forward to getting to know the families and being part of the children’s learning journey. In her free time, she enjoys oil paintings, arts and crafts, spending time with family and staying active.

Jessica Mercado
Ms. Jessica lives in Kennesaw and is working toward a Bachelor’s degree at Kennesaw State University. She has over a year of experience in child care from working in the after school program at Cobb County School District. She finds a lot of joy in being with students and helping them learn and grow every day. When she’s not at school she loves to do puzzles, go to concerts and spend time outdoors.

Yarelis Higgins
Mrs. Yarelis was born and raised in Hialeah, Florida to Cuban parents. Her Hispanic heritage influenced her upbringing a great deal. She learned to dance at an early age and developed a love for the arts. She received her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Theater Performance from Florida International University. She enjoys performing and making everyone smile. Mrs. Yarelis loves spending time with her family and their five beagles and watching the Atlanta Braves. She’s excited to get the opportunity to nurture, love, and teach the children in her care. She believes that “with a smile, you can change someone’s day.”

Gracen Burt
Ms. Gracen was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. She moved to Georgia when she was about three years old. She has grown up in the West Cobb area. Ms. Gracen has one dog, a mini husky, named Jovi; named after Bon Jovi. She loves classic rock and singing in her spare time. Working with children has ALWAYS been a passion of hers, so being here at Oregon park is a dream come true for her.

Sonia Gonzalez
Ms. Sonia has worked at Primrose OP since 2018. She has always enjoyed baking and cooking, which helped her with the decision to get her degree in Baking and Pastry Arts with some culinary as well. She was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and has lived in Georgia for five years now. She has three children ( two daughters and a son). In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, cooking, reading, doing puzzles and spending time with her family. I enjoy working at Primrose because there are wonderful people that she gets to spend the day with and she has the pleasure of meeting some amazing families. Her favorite part is seeing all the beautiful little people and fill their tummies!

Mark and Nicole Camplen
Nicole has “grown up” with Primrose in her life since she began working at the Oregon Park school in 1999. She started working in the Explorer’s program during a high school course for teaching and quickly found the reward and love in working with young children. Nicole has held many positions in different classrooms with Primrose School at Oregon Park. Mark possesses more than 18 years of travel industry experience with companies such as Delta Air Lines and Travelocity.com. With the pandemic of 2020, his career path changed and he’s moved into business ownership as well. Just a little different than children, but donuts. His Duck Donuts store opened in June of 2024. Having spent the last 18 years with Primrose has given Nicole the opportunity to reach out to the community surrounding Oregon Park and be honored to provide the best and most trusted childcare for our families. Knowing, delivering and seeing the difference our school makes in these young lives and families has driven her passion. As a school leader, she puts the children and families first in every decision. Mark and Nicole married in 2010 and reside in Powder Springs with their three children, Cooper (17), Sydney (12) and Rhett (9). All three children attended Primrose School at Oregon Park since they were Infants through our Kindergarten program. As Primrose parents themselves, Mark and Nicole can see the difference a dependable, loving and safe environment makes in young children. Their promise is to deliver the WOW factor and exceed our Primrose principles of service, so that other families in our West Cobb community can have the same fantastic early childcare experience for their own children. You will see Mark and Nicole throughout the school working hard to build a partnership with our Primrose families and staff.
