Hello, I’m Shamia Smith and I was born and raised in Canton, Georgia. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashford University, and I’ve spent the last 25 years building my career as a director in several well-established programs thought the greater Atlanta area. Throughout my career, my mission has been to provide exceptional early childhood education and uphold a commitment to the growth and development of every child. I am proud to represent principle of the primrose experience, which I truly believe align with my personal values of nurturing young minds, fostering creativity and creating an environment where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to learn. Hi, I’m Ms. Kelly and I joined the Primrose School of Mansell in 2021. I started with approximately 14 years of childcare experience in various roles. I’ve spent time as a nanny, camp counselor, a teacher, and now as an Education Coach and loved each position in different ways. I chose to work in childcare and a preschool because taking care of others has always come naturally to me, and children are always fun to be around. As adults, we can learn so much from a child. Hi, I’m Ms. Orchid! I was born and raised in the Virgin Islands and moved to Georgia as a teenager. My passion for caring for children began early on, as I often helped babysit my sister’s kids. Later, I worked as a camp counselor at the very camp I once attended—an experience that inspired me to pursue teaching. I am currently the Infant Lead Teacher and also help out in the afternoons with the Afterschool Program. I’m currently enrolled in school to earn my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, and I’m excited to continue growing in this field.
