Ms. April
Director

Ms. April grew up in the cow-tipping country of Western MA. She made Southern NH her home back in 2016. April has been working in the education field for 11 years and obtained her Master’s in Elementary Education in 2019. What she loves most is watching infants hit milestones and continue to grow and learn with each classroom. When she is not at Primrose she is spending her days with her daughter. They are most likely shopping or as Persephone calls it, “shopping cart.” When she is child-free she enjoys reading or crafting.

Ms. Meghan
Assistant Director

Ms. Meghan is a person full of passion and bubbly personality. In high school she was on the cheer team, and later on spent time being a cheer coach. She enjoyed growing up on the New Hampshire Coast line, where she is currently raising her son in that same small town. Ms. Meghan followed her passion of working with children by achieving her Associates Degree in ECE at Northern Essex Community College. She is currently taking classes to obtain her directors license and grow her career at Primrose School of Exeter.  In her free time she enjoys traveling with her son by either following the warm weather to Florida or enjoying the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. She loves the idea of camping but prefers Glamping over the ruffing it in the wilderness. She also likes to keep the secret of her playing guitar and singing for the private audience of close family and friends.

Ms. Brianna
Admissions Coordinator

Ms. Brianna is one of our amazing infant teachers here at Primrose School of Exeter. Before joining our team, she worked as a Senior Loan Officer at a local business, but she realized that her heart was truly drawn to working with children. With the experience of raising her four boys, Ms. Bri brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of child development to the classroom.

Since joining Primrose, Ms. Bri has returned to school to further her professional growth, taking classes in Early Childhood Education. Her passion for working with children shines through each day as she loves how her students make her laugh and help her see the world in a fresh, new light.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Bri is always on the go! You can find her cheering on her kids at their sports games, or spending time by the water during the summer months. She’s also on a mission to visit all 50 states and has already crossed off 7. New York City is next on her list, and she’s excited to explore the filming locations of Law & Order: SVU. On warm summer nights, Ms. Bri enjoys attending country concerts with her closest friends, soaking in the music and great company.

We’re so lucky to have Ms. Brianna as part of our team—her warmth, humor, and passion for both children and life make her an incredible addition to Primrose!

A few of Ms. Brianna’s favorite things:

  • Favorite Drink: Coffee

Franchise Owner

Brandon and Chelsey Derry

Welcome to Primrose School of Exeter!

We are Chelsey and Brandon Derry, and we are honored to bring Primrose’s premier early education and care to the children and families of Exeter and the surrounding New Hampshire communities.

Since opening Primrose School of Exeter nearly 2.5 years ago, we’ve been committed to offering the highest quality early education and care for our community’s children, guided by the principles of Primrose’s unique Balanced Learning® approach.

Before becoming owners of Primrose School of Exeter, we both proudly served in the United States Air Force, where we met. After Chelsey completed her service, she transitioned to a successful career in finance, working for several organizations across the country and in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire. Throughout her career, she focused on helping small, local businesses achieve financial growth while being an active member of her community and a dedicated mother. Brandon continues to serve in the New Hampshire Air National Guard and earned his MBA from the University of New Hampshire. His career has been focused on aviation and community support, culminating in his role as a Program Manager for General Electric.

Upon returning to New England after completing our active-duty commitments, we faced the challenge of finding high-quality childcare that would support our children’s physical, mental, and social development. It was during this search that we discovered Primrose Schools and immediately knew it was the perfect fit for our family. The Balanced Learning® approach resonated deeply with us, and after experiencing it firsthand, we became passionate about bringing this exceptional early education to our community.

Our goal is simple: to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow through Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®—all while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are receiving the best education and care possible.

We are excited to be part of this incredible community and look forward to supporting your family’s journey with us!

Our family would love to meet yours.
