I cannot recall a time in my life when I did not care for children. As early as my teen years I was taking care of the neighborhood children and planning to be a school teacher. As it turned out I found myself a stay at home mom with three pre-school children. In an attempt to find sanity in my life I discovered a Kids Day Out child care program where I could work part time and my children would receive the social interaction we all desperately needed. It did not take long for me to fall in love with my first classroom of four-year-old eager minds. I’d like to say I was a natural, but truthfully, I wish I knew then what I’ve learned over the past twenty five years about Early Childhood Education. My early classrooms benefited from a teacher who deeply cared for them, and that heart paired with the Primrose Balanced Learning Approach, created a perfect blend of personal and professional enjoyment. I am truly honored to bring my passion, knowledge, and experience to both Primrose School of Schertz and Primrose School at Bulverde Road. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of teaching in the classroom for almost every age group. I enjoyed four years working with Child Care Licensing to ensure the safety of children in childcare. I worked under a Head Start grant and supervised up to ten locations and six directors. I enjoyed working under the Texas Rising Star grant as a mentor to twelve facilities where I coached teachers and advised directors. In addition to completing a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education with a specialty in Social Sciences at Wayland Baptist University, I have been a Child Care Health Consultant, Texas Trainer, and CLASS observer. I was the Director at Primrose School of Schertz since their conception in 2016 and moved into the Executive Director role in 2023 for our Schertz and Bulverde Road locations.  I bring my experience in the childcare field, many years in leadership, twenty five years of parenting and the same care and passion I’ve always held for children and education. We know learning begins from day one of life which is why we will give your infant to school age child an enriching learning environment for them to wonder, discover and explore their world alongside a caring teacher who will guide them to reach beyond their imagination. My goal is to ensure our schools deliver the wow for each of our families.

My journey with Primrose School of Schertz began in 2019 as the School Age teacher. In 2020,  I was suddenly tasked with managing a classroom full of children from Kinder- 4th grade, attending various schools, as we all learned to navigate a brand new virtual school day.  Professionally, this was a challenge but I welcomed the opportunity. Shortly after, I was promoted to a newly created administrative assistant position to help with all the new demands during the pandemic.  Primrose has been a wonderful place to grow professionally and for my son to get the best possible education and care.  My passion has grown and inspired me to continue my studies toward a degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2023, I accepted the role of Communication Manager and have enjoyed developing and improving our parent communication and discovering new programs to partner with as part of our mission to serve our community.  In 2024 I accepted the position as Assistant Director with Primrose School at Bulverde Road, and was promoted to the Director role in 2025. It is a pleasure to be the first to greet our parents and children each day and my goal is to connect with every adult and child with warmth and sincerity.

I started my Primrose journey in 2021 as a Preschool Teacher in  Dallas, where I married my high school sweetheart. We moved to San Antonio in 2022, and I transferred to Primrose School at Bulverde Road. I worked proudly as a Preschool Teacher until I had my beautiful baby girl, who now attends Primrose in the toddler classroom. I returned to the role of Administrative Assistant and welcomed our second baby girl to our Family who is now in the infant room. In 2025 I accepted the role of Assistant Director and  I’m thrilled to support our teachers and your family every step of the way.

I’m Jasmine Currie. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

I was born here in San Antonio, Texas and have over 10 years of experience working with children. I started with Primrose Schools as a teacher in 2020, and as an Education Coach since 2023 at this location. I have loved every moment with Primrose and especially enjoy helping teachers implement our Balanced Learning Approach in every classroom. During my free time, I love writing and singing music and I hope to bring my passion for music into my classroom and help nurture my student’s creativity!

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and have over 3 years of experience working with children in early childhood education. I began working with children while attending James Madison High School and after 2 years of medical school switched majors back to Education. I love watching my students learn and grow everyday here at Primrose. I’m excited for another fantastic school year!

I was born in El Paso, Texas and it is my dream to be an Elementary School teacher. I would love to teach 1st -4th graders. But for now, I am loving the time I get to spend with the babies here at Primrose! I also love to read any genre of books. Fun fact, I have a leopard gecko, we’ve been friends for a year, his name is Kitty!

I am from Austin, Texas. My favorite things to do are try new things and take nature walks. I love making others laugh, some say I have a contagious laugh. I love spending time with my family and friends. I love working here at Primrose because I care deeply for others, and I get the chance to open my heart in the classrooms.

I come from a blended family, I have an older half brother, 1 younger biological sister and 4 younger step- siblings! I have cared for many different age groups, but I am enjoying my time in the infant classrooms absorbing all the love and cuddles. I  am working toward my teaching degree, it is my dream to be a teacher and to live on a ranch.

I moved to San Antonio in July 2024 with my husband Jack who serves in the Airforce and our 15-year-old daughter Kaydence. We have a 4-year-old chihuahua named Benji  In our spare time we love to visit all the amazing parks around us. I also love to cook so my family is always trying new recipes that I whip up in the kitchen!

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. My long-term goals include going to school to become an elementary schoolteacher and obtaining my Real Estate License. In the meantime, I am enjoying the time I spend here at Primrose with my students.

I am from San Antonio, Texas and I am happy to call it home. I am very into my faith because I would not be where I am without it. I also love dogs, especially pitbulls! I have a blue nose pitbull named Rocky . I am also a proud Tia (aunt) to 4 kiddos! 2 girls that are 13 years old and 2 boys, 5 & 3 years old. I was very young when my first nieces were born, fun fact I am closer in age to my nieces than I am to my 3 older siblings.

I grew up in a small town in Ohio with my two sisters and a brother. We moved to San Antonio, and I am happy to call it home after falling in love with the city. In 2023 I had my son who is my pride & joy. I studied Phlebotomy, but it was not my passion. I have always loved children and becoming an educator here at Primrose  is a huge accomplishment for me. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and creating a positive environment for each child in my care

I enjoy traveling, reading and learning fun facts about animals, nature and history! Learning new things make our brains grow! I love taking care of children and teaching them new things every day. I love to remind children how special they are and how important we all are. I teach all children the importance of kindness and love.

I am a born and raised San Antonian and graduated from MacArthur High School. I have three siblings and I am a proud cat mom. My favorite part of teaching is seeing my students’ individual personalities bloom. Outside of work I enjoy reading and anything Disney related. I’m excited for what’s to come as a member of the Primrose family.

I love a good laugh, I always try to keep a smile on my face and share it with others. My family means the world to me and, I am very close with them. I also love anything pink and girly. I love to dance around and have fun. I am also completely obsessed with my cat, who I have had since she was just a kitten.

I am Kaylen Torres and I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself

I have my Bachelors in Psychology, and I am planning to obtain my masters in the fall as well as my personal trainer certification. I love to travel with my partner who is in the US Army and go to the gym. I am creative, empathetic and always will go out of my way for those in my care.

I am the youngest sibling and older cousin to 6 kiddos! I adore taking care of kids and I’m obsessed with mini schnauzers. My dad is Caribbean, and my mom is Hispanic. My first language was Spanish! I was born premature and was told I wouldn’t amount to much. But here I AM! I am determined to be the best teacher I can be so the students I teach will be brave, confident and true to themselves. 

I am currently a junior in college majoring in Art Education. I am very passionate about creating with acrylic paints. Outside of my personal education, I am a fur mama to two dogs and a proud auntie to an amazing niece! I am a movie enthusiast and love thrifting for art with my dad. My professional experience spans from working with children, to roles in leadership and human resources.

I love to do anything with art, it brings a lot of joy and peace in my life. I’ve never thought I’d become a teacher although it’s been one of my dreams when I was younger. I also love to sing and listen to music, and I am excited to implement it in the, curriculum. I have a busy little boy, who also attends Primrose . He has made the person I am today and has made me come out of my comfort zone.

I enjoy making new friends. I enjoy experiencing new foods and new places. I love to be immersed in other cultures when traveling and always having an open mind. I am excited to start this new journey here at Primrose meeting all of the staff, family and most importantly.. the students.

I am from San Angelo, Texas but I now call San Antonio home. I dedicate myself to anything that comes my way. I love to laugh and make others laugh, that’s what makes my heart full. I raised 4 beautiful children with my full love and devotion and now get to re-live the joys of  parenthood through my 2 grandchildren.

I was born in Oklahoma and enjoyed traveling a lot with my family since my father was in the Army. I now have 3 sons and one daughter and am a proud Grandma to two amazing grandkids who also enjoy traveling with my son who is in the Navy.
