Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Hi, my name is Ashley! I grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia and have been working in childcare since 2012. I have my CDA, and in my free time, I enjoy watching movies & shopping with friends. Primrose is a special place because of how loving and supportive the families and teachers are. I also love how the Primrose balanced learning system allows children to learn while playing and having fun. I am excited to watch my students learn and thrive in the classroom. It makes my heart happy to watch those “ah ha” moments!

Ms. Linda
Hi, my name is Linda! I am from Carmel, Indiana. I have been teaching since 1979. I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. On the weekends, I enjoy Kayaking, Running & Pilates.
I’m proud of Primrose’s reputation for excellence. Our teachers are well trained and have passion for children and education. I appreciate the support of the staff and the parents. I enjoy the positive work environment.
I’m excited to see my students begin to read independently. I look forward to beginning our Og’s book club this year!
