Our Preschool Pathways Classroom

Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will ultimately miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance. By identifying those children early, we can help them stay with a consistent group of peers through preschool, pre-K and kindergarten.

Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

My name is Ms. Sheila. I have been in childcare for over 21 years. I started when I was in High school and am the mother of 2 beautiful children. I love to see the impact I have on all of the children’s young faces and watching them grow and learn each day.

I’m Ms. Selina. I was born in Mobile Alabama. I have been working with children since high school and have had a passion for children and their development since then. In my personal time I love to spend time with my family and be with my nieces and nephews. A few fun facts about me is my favorite color is blue, I love sushi and I like to read.

Early Art Masters

With paintbrushes in hand and big imaginations at play, our young artists take to the easel! Our Early Art Masters program encourages bold strokes and thoughtful color choices. Each masterpiece is a reflection of growing creativity, fine motor development, and self-expression.

Fire Safety and Community Helpers

Often, our students at Primrose School at Balmoral have special visitors from real-life community helpers, police constables, local firefighters and more! Our firefighters taught us all about fire safety, showed us their gear, and even let us explore a fire truck up close! At Primrose Schools, we believe in building strong community connections while teaching children how to stay safe, be brave, and appreciate those who help keep us safe every day.

Growing Minds in the Primrose Patch

Our Preschool Pathways gardeners loved to get their hands dirty in the Primrose Patch planting flowers and learning all about the plant life cycle! From tiny seeds to blooming petals, our students explored how sunlight, water, and care help living things grow.
