An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Thompson
Ms. Thompson joined the Primrose team in 2025 and is from Amarillo. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and arts and crafts and enjoying time outdoors. Ms. Thompson also enjoys reading and going on drives to see the beautiful scenery around her.
Ms. Thompson graduated from Randall High School and enjoys working at Primrose with children of all ages because of how they grow and learn new things. She takes pride in the students she helps teach ad mold every day, giving them a love for learning themselves while making sure they are in a happy and loving environment. We are so happy to have Ms. Thompson here with us.

Ms. Rodriguez
Ms. Rodriguez has been working in childcare for a little over 3 years and joined the Primrose team in August of 2024. She was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas and some of her hobbies include reading, journaling and listening to music. Ms. Rodriguez loves seeing children grow and learn in a safe place, as well as seeing them develop their own personalities and confidence. She chose to work at Primrose because of its well structured and dependable environment. We are glad to have Ms. Rodriguez here with us at Primrose!
