Teachers & Staff

Stephanie Alvarez
Hello, my name is Stephanie Alvarez, and I am honored to serve as the School Director at Primrose School at Alamo Ranch! Born and raised in San Antonio, I am a proud mother of three grown children and a loving grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters.
With over 25 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, my passion for working with children began in high school when I volunteered at a local elementary school. From the moment I stepped into the classroom, I knew this was where I belonged. There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing the joy on a child’s face when they master a new skill and knowing I played a role in their learning journey.
Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of teaching every age group from toddlers to kindergarteners and have been mentored by incredible educators and leaders. My journey led me from classroom teaching to administrative roles, where I grew into the positions of Administrative Assistant, Assistant Director, and now School Director.
I am thrilled to bring my passion, experience, and leadership back to Primrose School at Alamo Ranch. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our staff and families, fostering a nurturing learning environment, and watching your children grow and thrive.
I can’t wait to meet you soon!

Mary Margaret Lopez
We are thrilled to introduce Ms. Lopez as our Assistant Director at Primrose School at Alamo Ranch! She joins us from our Huebner Village location, where she began her Primrose journey as an Assistant Toddler Teacher. Her dedication and passion for early childhood education quickly led her to become the Lead Teacher in Early Preschool and later an Administrative Assistant before transitioning into her leadership role here at Alamo Ranch.
Beyond her experience in early education, Ms. Lopez has a heart for service. Her background includes missionary work in England and full-time ministry in Dallas, shaping her commitment to guiding and uplifting those around her. In 2020, she returned to San Antonio to be closer to her loved ones and joined the Primrose family, where she continues to make a meaningful impact.
In her free time, Ms. Lopez is deeply involved in student ministry at her church and cherishes every moment spent with her family. She is excited to support our teachers, connect with families, and help create a warm, nurturing environment for our students.
Be sure to say hello when you see her around the school—she looks forward to getting to know you!

AnaLisa Hernandez
Mrs. AnaLisa Hernandez is an excellent addition to our Primrose School! Originally from San Antonio, Mrs. Hernandez has worked with children for over 8 years. She currently holds a CDA certification and enjoys working with our younger age groups. We love to see Mrs. Hernandez interacting with her Young Toddlers. It is sweet to see her carry on a conversation with them — fully preparing them for that surge of vocabulary that comes soon. In her spare time, Mrs. Hernandez enjoys watching movies with her husband and taking her dogs on road trips.
Mrs. Hernandez joined the Leadership Team as our Administrative Assistant in 2025.

We are proud to introduce Mrs. Flores, our Education Coach at Primrose School at Alamo Ranch and Primrose School of Huebner Village!
Originally from Brownsville, TX, Ms. Flores brings a wealth of experience in education, including substitute teaching for the Manassas Park City School System and working with special needs children. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Columbia College and has been a valued member of our Primrose family for almost two years.
From the moment she joined our team, her organization, structure, and attention to detail made her a standout educator and leader. She thrives in the classroom and finds the most joy in those “light bulb” moments—seeing a child grasp a new concept during Small Group sessions is what makes her role so rewarding! She was named 2023 Teacher of the Year for Primrose Alamo Ranch!
Outside of school, Mrs. Flores loves spending time outdoors hiking and getting creative with arts & crafts alongside her family. She is excited to continue supporting our teachers, mentoring students, and fostering a love of learning at Primrose!
Be sure to say hello when you see her—she is always happy to connect with families!

Debra Rincones
Mrs. Rincones has made a fabulous asset to our Primrose team. As a mother of 2, she knows how important structure, routine, and learning experiences are for children. After several years of upper management in a retail setting — Mrs. Rincones decided to switch gears and give her children the most of her time. She dedicated herself fully into volunteer work with children, their schooling, and subbing for Northside Independent School District. Her management experience shows in that assisting in a classroom requires a lot of organization, time management, and goal setting. Mrs. Rincones enjoys the academic challenges that come with the Pre-K age group, and is looking forward to relationships with her families. She was awarded 2024 Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Rincones joined the Leadership Team in 2025 as our Enrollment and Safety Specialist. She is the first face our prospect families meet and is always ensuring that our school is a safe environment!

Veronica Felix
Mrs. Felix is so fun to work with! Before Primrose she had not cooked in a childcare setting before — but loved to create recipes and kids! She has found a good place to combine the two! Her favorite thing to do is dance with the kids for a moment when she delivers the food; they certainly look forward to it! The children always enjoy her meals and she makes every effort to ensure that special requirements are followed. If a new recipe is created she will be sure to have everyone try it, including our Leadership Team and Teachers!
